Here it shows where they measured Frank Bruno's punching power at .... wait for it ..... 400 kg. How is that possible?

hatton is a good puncher but hes not that strong no way!!

maybe gloves used, wrapping, bag type used, weight of the boxer when they were doing the test all this would influence the result

I've seen a few articles about boxers punch power, and they seem to go from one extreme to the other depending on what type of equipment they use. I don't think there is a accurate way to measure a boxers punch unless they are hitting the same equipment.

Hatton was on a English soccer programme as a guest called Soccer AM and they tested him on one of these machines compared to an average male, he hit it 13 times harder.

They also had another boxer/fighter (can't remember, wasn't a massive name) do it and the average male beat him, the boxer jabbed it for some reason lol

They used a machine that I saw once in a gaming arcade where you drop a quarter. LOL

Them machines are good fun, especially when you see a little dude get a higher score than the guys who think they are hard.

maybe he does, but hatton smothers all his punches by getting too close and hugging

It isn't possible, the various claims we have now amount to Hatton punching three times as hard as Pacquiao (and as hard as Tyson), with Pacquiao himself having a HW punch, and clearly all that amounts to total nonsense. I suspect proverbial apples are being compared with oranges somewhere along the line. That figure for Bruno is in the region of those for Tyson and Marciano, and seems about right. Methinks we need an expert on this stuff to explain things.
