I was pretty critical of him early in the fight, as you said, he didn't go to the body and didn't let his hands go as much as I would have liked to see him do but it got better in the second half of the fight and he did break Rojas down but he definitely could have done more.

Also about the adapting thing, he wasn't forced to adapt. Let's wait and see what he does when he needs to adapt, the need hasn't been there yet.

I don't know why people are so down with his performance, he could have done more for sure but he got the job done and is improving, it's only been 15 fights in his pro career, I think the expectations on him are a bit too high at this point.

            Are you people blind? lol

Do you really think Gamboa couldn't KO Rojas from like the beggining?? Gamboa was there having fun all night, not being challenged at all. He did NOT want to KO him. How can you say his power is overrated lol Everytime Rojas was wobbled almost falling with his hands down, Gamboa just step back on purpose, gave him a couple of seconds and then started fighting again. He knew Rojas wasn't a real champ and as he said at the end, he wanted to box more this time to get ready for his next fight.

Honestly, if you people couldn't see this you have some deep hating issues. Rojas was there the whole time just waiting to be KOd and Gamboa let him go the whole fight, he could easily have cornered him with a 30-punch-combo and good night, but he didnt.

Gamboa threw several 30 punch combos, incidentally they all missed and Rojas' defense made Gamboa look amateur.

mmm.. these were 3-4 punch combos, and rojas defense was slick so yeah he missed a lot... I'm not talking about these times smart ass, you know very well that Gamboa could have EASILY finished it several times, if you couldn't see this, you definately hating. He prefered to pose when he connected instead of finishing him, which I didn't really understand but I thought he had some kind of compassion towards Rojas or something like that.
