True, but at either weight Floyd will win regardless.

I'm happy that this fight might happen. It's a tuneup fight but nothing about JMM says tuneup. Floyd is a small ww and Jmm is tough as nails, he would give hatton, pac, and cotto problems IMO. Nothing would be boring about this fight, plus all I've been hearing is Jmm is the real p4p champ so bring it on.

Thats Diaz style. He's going to bully you some and most guys will let it happened because they know they can counter. Look at Floyd vs Chavez. That fight didnt prove that Floyd couldnt move up. JMM knocked out a very good fighter and probably the best guy at LW. You cant do that without being the real deal. I think to me it proved that he could move up. Not just anyone can stop Diaz
i agree, at 35 he looks very good, and i think at 40 he can look close or maybe the same as he does a 35, but more than that i feel it may hurt him against pbf. against someone else maybe he could pull it off, but not vs floyd imo.

yes, because we all know JMM has fought comfortably and effectively at anything above 140 many times before.

We've never even seen JMM at 140, and people are acting like hes a worthy opponent above that weight.

              Totally clueless.

What champions does a 35 year old who never fought above 135 beat at 140 or above?

Someone please try to justify this laughable fight.

              I feel like laughing.

I'm gonna go take rip first to make it even better.

he should win, but i would never count out the masterful JMM. one of the most underrated fighters alive in the game.

i like marquez as much as the next guy but if he really feels that unconfertable about fighting at something like 143 then he shouldnt have took the fight period. i dont see 5 - 10 differance as a huge advantage for floyd really. it sure as hell didnt help delahoya over floyd.
