I think if Ricky Hatton just pulls a Ricky Hatton against Pacman, he will win. I don't think Pacman has ever had to deal with anyone this strong physically, nevermind someone that uses his strength as one of his main assets. Hatton's handspeed is also good enough to keep Manny honest, which I think is why Pac looked so good against DLH.

Don't crucify me if you think I'm wrong, it's just a gut feeling.

However, if I'm going with facts and what I know, I guess I would just say this will be one of those fights where the winner is the one who can impose his style.

If Pacman is able to dart in and out, landing combinations, he will win.
If Hatton is able to body Pacman up, and fight his fight, he will win. And I just think that Hatton is going to pull it off.

You heard it here first. Don't be shy to hammer me on this if it doesn't pan out.
if the ref lets hatton grapple he will win, if the ref doesn't let him grapple pac will win.

    its as simple as that.

I truthfully don't think Floyd Sr is going to turn Hatton completely around, especially against a fighter like Pacquiao. The first few rounds they'll get a feel for each other, but I think down the stretch Pac is just going to be too fast and is going to overwhelm Hatton with shots.

Hatton will get stopped late in the fight.

I really don't think its's quite that simple...

I think Hatton takes away from himself when he grapples... he smothers himself.. I also think Floyd Sr. is going to want Hatton to box and use angles... Floyd isn;t really known to train grapplers.

You know what, I was gonna do a thread on this too, I think thats gonna happen if Pac wins too.

At the end of the day, this fight is round 1 of the bigger picture. In street fighter you get sagat, you beat him, its M.Bison. In Mortal Kombat you get Shang Tsung you beat him, its Shao Khan.

Pacquaio beat De La Hoya, if he beats Hatton, then its mayweather.

IMO, Hatton Wins, Too big for Pac. If he does not, he should retire.

Please don't ever compare Floyd to Shao Khan again.. thanks.

ALL valid arguments,...PAC fans and Hatton fans who are 100% sure of a victory are just fools attempting to be a nostradamus..........If pac wins convincingly i wouldnt hold this against you.....
