I'm getting that feeling, Hatton's going to win

I base most of what I believe in boxing on facts, but for the Pac-Hatton fight I just have a gut feeling Hatton is going to win. The feeling started a few days ago, and now I really believe it.
I think if Ricky Hatton just pulls a Ricky Hatton against Pacman, he will win. I don't think Pacman has ever had to deal with anyone this strong physically, nevermind someone that uses his strength as one of his main assets. Hatton's handspeed is also good enough to keep Manny honest, which I think is why Pac looked so good against DLH.
Don't crucify me if you think I'm wrong, it's just a gut feeling.
However, if I'm going with facts and what I know, I guess I would just say this will be one of those fights where the winner is the one who can impose his style.
If Pacman is able to dart in and out, landing combinations, he will win.
If Hatton is able to body Pacman up, and fight his fight, he will win. And I just think that Hatton is going to pull it off.
You heard it here first. Don't be shy to hammer me on this if it doesn't pan out.Comment

But yea, he will still get tagged by the straight left no matter what, I just don't think that often, as Hatton is not a sitting duck like the rest of Manny's opponents.Comment

What an irony if Hatton gets tagged with body punches which he couldn't take, covers up and exposes his noggins, Pacman is a great head hunter. That possibility could also happen.
There's also a chance Ricky catches Manny big, and Manny gets knocked out cold. All our takes on this fight is just, takes, it won't mean much.
That's why they fight the fights, nobody gets KTFO on paper. Just enjoy it come May 2nd...Comment

Anyone who talks like that about Hatton, doesn't really watch him fight. A lot of the clinching in Hatton fights is not initiated by him. Watch the Malignaggi fight again, for further details. Yes, he does have a physical style. Yes, he does do a bit of wrestling. But no, that does not define Ricky Hatton as a fighter.

But I gotta tell you something, I'm skeptical over how much value floyd sr adds to hatton's game.
That Paulie fight, he used the jab a little, but he still steamed in head up, paulie couldn't miss him with the jab, thing is, paulie is feather fisted, one handed and provided no detterent to hatton getting inside.
Pacquaio's punch may be a different story.Comment

I don't think Hatton will be fast enough to avoid it. I see Hitman's face swelling really bad during the fight.Comment

Pacquiao's right hand is excellent these days, and I know he's been working on it for this fight. I think we're gonna see Manny getting in some good right-hand body shots, actually. People go on about Ricky's body shots, but I don't see him being successful with them. No doubt he can dish out some good ones occasionally, but if they were all what they were cracked up to be he would have taken out Lazcano and Malignaggi with them. Neither of those guys have the body conditioning that Pac has, so why would Ricky take Pac out with body shots? It ain't gonna happen. My feeling is that Manny is gonna try to beat Hatton at his own game and could have better sucess with body shots than Ricky. JAT.
