And you can rest assured Pavlik would be landing his right alot more often than most of William's opp's landed there best punch, unless Williams runs, in which cases he loses a UD, cuz he ain't a counter-puncher. Pavlik is both the unstoppable force and the immovable object in this fight, which is why he wins. Pavlik only loses to B-Hop like fighters. This group includes Bernard Hopkins. At 160 Kelly is nearly unbeatable. So far no one has taken him down at 160.
he got hit in the face... and that was it... where did he looked hurt, stumbling and out on his feet?

and do you think paul williams hasnt improved at all since that fight? or is he still the same fighter to you?

Willams power is way to questionable for me...Pavlik has power and based on what happened with Hopkins I beleieve Pavlik will be prepared for swarming as well as Willams blatant attempts to hit and hold.

I got pavlik in this one, they both have about the same workrate. Pwill is untested at 160 and Pavlik is th reigning champ and he's fought the better and tougher opposition.

I think he looked hurt, you don't see Williams hold like that unless he's hurt. I like Paul, and I think he can and should dominate at 154, and I hope he does.

I think he has improved, but at 160 his chin is going to be highly questionable. You fight at Welter, 154, then take a fight against a rusty, already light punching Winky... that is not a battle tested chin, IMO. Again, the only people who can beat Kelly are those who can go a whole fight without feeling his power. Hopkins is one of the few, and that was at 170. Once a guy feels it, he fights differently the remainder of the fight. He fights backwards, right into Kelly's trap. Williams is guaranteed to get hit, and guaranteed he will be fighting different than he did vs. Winky.

I think, obviously, both Pavlik and Williams have some rough points in their style that slick boxers can take advantage of. They've both been outboxed, though Pavlik's loss came at a higher weight to a HoF fighter.

That said, it doesn't matter how rough Kelly is- I like him but I'm not a 'fan'- Paul is too small for fighting a middleweight like Pavlik. Wright was a blown up junior middleweight and now some people think Paul has all the tools to tackle 160? Insanity.

                Pavlik KO around the 5-7th.
