Yes, that is a good point. But Butterbean wasn't as out of shape as Fat Arreola.

In the early days of the UFC (before Dana purchased it) they had all kinds of out of shape street fighters climbing in there and getting their asses beat.

Now a days though, all those guys are in prime shape and are all trained professionally. Just like Boxing, you gotta make weight and even with the UFC there IS limit on the Heavyweight division. Brock Lesnar has to cut to 265 (the UFC Heavyweight limit), but then hydrates back to a solid 280 (WTF!!!), and it's not fat at all.

Though I give Arreola respect, he does not have the look of a Heavyweight Champion at all.

bj is a tiny , out of shape lightweight.

it wasn't fair for him to fight a natural 205 lb. light heavyweight like georgie.

“Let me tell you something,” he said. “I really got sick to my stomach Saturday night with these two heavyweights who were obviously overweight and out of condition fighting on HBO and representing heavyweight boxing in this country. That to me was a disgrace.

We in boxing criticize the UFC, but Dana White would never, ever allow athletes like that to fight on his cards, out of shape with ridiculous rolls of fat. I think it’s ridiculous. HBO is so worried about lights and camera angles; they should worry about the athletes they give time to.”

arum is right about overweight HWs but he is wrong about the UFC bit.

GSP doesn't walk around 205 LOL. At most he's prob 180-185 and cuts to 170 to fight (UFC WW limit). He's in shape 365 days of the year. He'd be dropping close to 40 lbs for every fight if that were the case. His name ain't Ricky Hatton

Anderson Silva? Yea, he walks around 205 or so and cuts to 185.
