Stop the BS, Clottey got stripped, because he wanted to cash on the belt without defending it.

Is his and only his fault. he should of fought his mandatory in february!!!!!!!!!!!1

its clottey's fault for not fighting his mandatory and sitting out waiting on a payday. when was the last time clottey fought??? he could've fought his mandatory and still fought cotto in june. i just bought my tickets today, im looking forward to this fight in msg!!!

exactly! clottey should've ko'd his mandatory in february and then fought cotto in june. it would've been wbo and ibf titles on the line. clottey can't blame cotto for this he fought in february and already signed on to fight clottey

Its seems like Boxing is trying to lose fans to UFC. As much as i hate watching guys wrestling with one another at least they dont have to put up with this nonsense of losing your Title in the BoardRoom. I wonder if they already have an up and comer in mind who will fight the winner of Hltownafath or whoever at the end of the Year. As far as the fight, I see Clottey putting a 12 round whooping on Cotto. Cotto cannot take Big punches and Clottey will block most of the combinations that worked for Cotto against Margarito and others. Clottey is not a great power puncher but Cottos chin is nothing special either. I can see Cotto making it interesting if he dances and runs like Judah did but that will hurt Cottos image more than Help and Since nobody saw the fight with Jennings, Quiting on the Canvas is the last memory we have of Cotto (not counting fights with Family). But i think Cotto will fall into a trap of swinging away at the stationary Clottey and then getting Countered with body shots till the Gloves drop a little then Clottey will take it upstairs. I figure by the 7th or 8th Rounds Cotto will go into survival mode and go for a decision against the Iron Chin from Ghana. Cotto really doesnt have enough power to hurt Clottey so i wouldnt be surprised if Cotto is thinking decision early and Runs most the fight. But time will tell
