There's literally 1 Meldrick fight in the video trading block, and you know which one that is.

I'm looking for some examples of his blazing handspeed early in his career, his stoppage wins, and especially the McGirt fight.

So far I have 20 clips, that are mostly in the 2 second range, and a few that are 30 seconds long or so.
I can imagine it to pretty hard, but you should add clips of his outstanding Amature days against the likes of Peter Konyegwachie, Nicolae Talpos, and John Wanjau were you will see him destroying world class amatures.

Some clips from his fights with John Meekins,Jaime Balboa, and Ramon Flores, all pefromances were pre Chavez fight and he looks brillant in all.

If anybody has some links where I could download some of Taylor's earlier stuff, I'd appreciate it.

My main goal with this is to make an uplifting highlight video of Meldrick
. A video of him in his prime, dazzling the crowd with his handspeed, talent, and guts. Not a highlight of basically the fight that he's most remembered for.

Amazingly, nobody on youtube has uploaded a single career highlight video of Meldrick.

There's some poor quality clips of the Chavez, and Norris fights, but that's about it.

I think I may have bitten off more than I can chew with this one.
Disregard my message sent to you then

And in his prime was breathtaking, and for you to just degrade him like that is downright wrong.
Where did I say he was a bad fighter? Where did I say I didn't appreciate his career?

People need to lighten up when people make jokes about fighters. People don't care if people make wife beating jokes about Carlos Monzon or DLH leg stocking jokes, but whenever something unfortunate happens such as Chico's death or Taylor's condition it's an "off limit" subject about them (obviously making fun of Diego's death is a **** thing, I meant other parts of his career though). It's not degrading anything they've done and I respect their careers, but people really need to lighten up about if people make a joke about a boxer who has had bad things happen to them.

yea, I tried making a highlight for Meldrick, its almost impossible. so little footage of him exists, its crazy

you could steal some footage from this...

it has some of his other fights, but not the Chavez one...

you can also get your hands on his fights against Buddy McGirt(he looked insanely good in that fight) and some of the Crisanto Espana fight too. they exist, Ive found them.

Ive always looked for his fight with Aaron Davis, but it doesnt seem to exist...

Supposedly there's also a "Meldrick Taylor mix" of this song.

I tried to search for music that he came out to but I don't think he used any for his entrances.

Those are great suggestions, but again, do you know where I can find the videos?

I can't believe it's so hard to find downloads of Taylor fights. I'm literally working with an hour of the Chavez fight. (The original 36 minutes, and the 30 minute "Legendary Nights" episdoe.)

There's a few clips of different fights he's had on youtube, that I could borrow from. But they're mostly poor quality, and I've got about 3 minutes of high definition Taylor footage right now to work with.

I don't want to interlace good video with bad video, it will take away from the overall package.

There 's having a joke, but that wasn't one bit funny in the slightest. Taylor gave everything he had in that Chavez fight and put his heart and soul into it, and it was a tragic what happened to him, and for you to laugh at him it downright wrong.

And the state he is in now, it's pretty heartbraking. And don't compare this with Monzon or De La Hoya's situation as it is a completey different situation all together.

And if you repsected his career, you wound't of laughed at him and you would of remembered his great career moments. And you say other posters have done it in the past, well if other posters put there hand in a fire would you. Don't be a follower be a leader, and don't try to make people laugh, by laughing at other's people situations's, especailly one as sad as Taylor's.
