Yeah, this is true. I've always liked the slo-mo punching ones with classical music in the background.

It's the perfect juxtaposition of high culture and low class brutality all in one slice.

A nice little sonata and a clanging cracking shot.

But you are right. Whatever you do, people's tastes are different.

Meldrick Taylor was a brave, brave fighter. The music has to somehow reflect the lengths he would go in a fight.
    I don't think it's a particularly easy task.

Not exactly an expert on this type of music but I searched for Meldrick Taylor + music () and found this:

Supposedly there's also a "Meldrick Taylor mix" of this song.

I tried to search for music that he came out to but I don't think he used any for his entrances.

This one is already proving much harder than my Hopkins one.

There's literally 1 Meldrick fight in the video trading block, and you know which one that is.

I'm looking for some examples of his blazing handspeed early in his career, his stoppage wins, and especially the McGirt fight.

So far I have 20 clips, that are mostly in the 2 second range, and a few that are 30 seconds long or so.

since he's from philly rock it with something from Vinnie Paz & Jedi Mind Tricks.. maybe one of the animal rap mixes....the arturo gatti mix...more uptempo.

              Animal Rap (Arturo Gatti Mix)

Granted the Mickey Ward mix is bad as hell too..

That's pretty damn low what you just said about Taylor, and really uncalled for joking or not joking. Boxing is such a hard and brutal sport, and Taylor gave his life to it and put his life on the line every time he stepped in a ring. And in his prime was breathtaking, and for you to just degrade him like that is downright wrong.

I'm having a very difficult time doing this.

I'm literally working with 2 videos : The Chavez fight, and the "Legendary nights" episode, about the Chavez fight.

If anybody has some links where I could download some of Taylor's earlier stuff, I'd appreciate it.

My main goal with this is to make an uplifting highlight video of Meldrick. A video of him in his prime, dazzling the crowd with his handspeed, talent, and guts. Not a highlight of basically the fight that he's most remembered for.

Amazingly, nobody on youtube has uploaded a single career highlight video of Meldrick.

There's some poor quality clips of the Chavez, and Norris fights, but that's about it.

I think I may have bitten off more than I can chew with this one.
