Gonna have to disagree on some parts....

Cotto is a left handed orthadox fighter, once he fights a south paw he's going to be forced to use his straight right hand, which is average at best. Combined with Pacquiao's extreme speed advantage and workrate, Cotto will most likely lose.

Cotto has faced a speedy southpaw before in Judah. Zab can also hit and I assume that he hits harder than Pacquiao. Plus, Cotto can turn southpaw and land straight lefts, he's done it before.

I would say that it was Pernell's defense/head movement that gave the most problems, Pac doesn't have that kind of defense.

This is why Winky Wright beat Trinidads ass (although I'm not sure if he's a natural lefty, but he uses his left as his prime weapon).

Winky is a natural right-hander and his money punch is his stinging jab.

Marquez, is a natural right hander. He's got a great right hand hence his success in the Pacquiao fights.

Nobody can throw clean, crisp combinations like Marquez. Nobody can counter-punch like he does either. I credit those attributes more so than his right hand alone.

As it stands now, I see Miguel getting frustrated and his right hand not being enough to win him the fight vs Pacquiao's left.

Like I said, Cotto is not a fish out of water fighting fast southpaws. Add his boxing skills and his obvious size advantage and you get a stoppage victory for Miguel Cotto.

Pacquiao surprises me more with every fight in getting better, when after more than 14 years as a pro, he should be starting to fade. That said, I'd be shocked to see him beat Cotto, unless of course the Marg loss ruined him, which it doesn't look like it did.
