Clottey can hurt Williams to the body. He has a much, much thicker frame than Williams and is equally fast if not faster. Clottey is in top physical form as well and runs probably more than Williams does and he does like 7 miles per day. At one point, Clottey was running 12 miles each day.

If Winky could not get to his body, why would you think Clottey could. Winky is rangier than Clottey and an all-around better boxer at that style. And we saw the beating he gave Winky. This is what you have to look at.

If Pavs doesn't fight Abraham, and Pwill is busy, it gets Pavs off the hook for not fighting his two biggest challengers. Hell, Arum wouldn't even let him fight Winky. He is going to match Pavlik as carefully as he can until his hand is forced. The only way that happens, is if Pwill becomes Pavs mandatory. Leave the belts alone Pwill, and go for the rankings to get Pavlik in the ring.

even if you dont enjoy watching him fight or your not even a fan in the slightest of clottey you have to love and respect his " i dont give a **** , lets fight " attitude.

Clottey is more compact and probably will fight on the inside out of necessity. He has a good defensive style and works really well on the inside, hitting with power as well. If he is active and does not go into a shell he has a chance....if that fight ever happens.

pavlik versus Williams would be a great fight.

Clottey is a good fighter, but it would be a physical mismatch. Did you see how big Pwill looked compared to Winky. It would look even worse if he fought Clottey. Clottey is just creating the smoke screen for Pavlik to sneak away in. Clottey would take the fight, but there is no money in it as Pwill would command the lion's share of the purse. Arum would not let that happen so the fight would not get made once again.
