Boxing has no stars in America right now. So at least here, it wont be anyone we have heard of. The next star hasnt turned pro yet. Nobody out there has the ability and star quality that an Oscar or Sugar Ray had. Plus like someone already said, Oscar was also a star because he fought everybody. Nobody does that anymore. Especially someone like him who could have been very rich just fighting nobodies his whole career.

Nah America will never accept him like they did Oscar. Oscar was like a rockstar with boxing gloves.

If he keeps winning he can be very popular but nowhere near as popular as Oscar.

that is the question indeed? Who? Manny is the only one i can think of who can gernerate the same revenue as odlh. I just don't think we will see anyone of his nature for a while. Personally the way the boxing bussiness is today were it's simply about $$$ and not pride, i don't think we will ever see another oscar!
