    Technically, yes he did. His retirement was iminent and losing to Pacquiao was the last nail in the coffin..

                  No, the Pacquiao fight didn't force him into retirement... but it was just a final wake-up call telling him he needs to hang them up, he did the right thing.

                    Yes Pacman retired him just like he retired Morales, Barrera, soon to be JMM and Hatton. Anyone that crosses paths with Pacman is ruined and forced to retire!
