The answer is: where can SHANE get more money? Floyd knows he can make his paper without Shane.

Shane needs Floyd. Not the other way around. I was referring to the Sharmba fight as an example. Floyd left those $4 million paydays (Mitchell) long behind. Shane is still there.

    Cheers, mate. No worries.

Then, Mosley can take his hard-earned 'popularity' and be the "A" side against anyone...right? He should do that.

4 million paydays are not bad. that's very good in fact.

aside from pac or hatton i doubt he could make substantially more than that.

hbo and showtime are being real stingy right now. which is good for us fans actually.

i gurantee you no one wants paul, cause for one, he has no fans, two there is no money for paul williams, and he is like 6.4

$4 million paydays are very good (exceptional!) for most fighters. It is not enough for FMJ.

HBO and Showtime have really leaned out their license fees - you're right. Which is why PBF would want a PPV. So he can take a cut of the gross revenues. That is what he did in the Baldomir fight.

Mosley needs a mega-fyt that’s why he’s chasing manny and willing to wait for him. It just so happen that manny is real small for him. But following manny’s quest of becoming another boxing ATG, manny will opt to fyt a champion in WW like miguel and shane to collect a belt in that division. Arum and Freddie will most likely choose the two over floyd if winnability rather than paycheck is considered. Manny can possibly exploit shane’s advanced age or miguel’s sluggishness.

I care about who is in the ring fighting. Floyd talk about it but don't be about it. He has had more than enough chances to be in real fights but it's alweays some excuse. did Shane make an excuse when Winky came calling. How bout when he jumped 2 divisions to fight Oscar in his prime. How bout shane fighting Collazo, that NO ONE wanted to fight.
Shane had 2 fights at 147 before he fought Oscar. So NO he didnt jump 2 weight classes to fight DLH..

Floyd doesn't feel he's ready to go down in weight and fight Marguez. So he should've understand.
Same frequency here…. Mosley fought winky at MW(160) twice. Was it at 147 floyd wants the fyt? Floyd must be thinking the same now with the upcoming marquez fyt. Well, great boxers are not only brave, they/some should be wise too in order to survive long enough to be categorized as great in the ‘hurt business’.
