    Walt,

    If a 34 year old Oscar at 154 isn't a challenge, then what did Pac accomplish by fighting a 36 year old Oscar at 147?

    If Hatton isn't a challenge, then why is Pac fighting him?

    Please help me understand your logic.

      Tua, you make yourself seem unintelligent when you make statements like this.
      if shane isn't a draw then no wonder no one is good enough for floyd.

      fact is aside from hatton and oscar who are huge draws , all of floyd's opponents are not bigger draws than shane.

      who's a bigger draw than shane that floyd has fought at 147? baldomir? judah? sharmba?

      you'd have to go to gatti at 140 for someone else who's a bigger draw than shane and that's debatable.

      marquez is not much more of a draw than shane. look at how the casamayor fight drew and that was for a lineal title.

      marquez is just good money and a no risk fight for floyd. jmm is great but he's a 126 fighter fighting at 135 who floyd wants to go to 147 for christ's sake!

      a mosley or cotto fight would make him as much if not more money than marquez.

      mosley and cotto are in his division! fight them! fight someone at 147!

      if he's not gonna fight guys like cotto , shane , berto or clottey at 147. then might as well fight jmm at least at 140. still a huge disadvantage for jmm but at least he only has to go up ONE division , not TWO.

      floyd never even jumped 2 divisions at once! almost everytime he jumps 1 he has to have a easy tuneup.

      • This is a repost to the roy jones not wanting to fight williams article which is a very relevant post to this article;

        Wuts da damn deal with my fellow brethren ducking fights these days???? It used to be in the long history of boxing that other races ducked black fighters. Black fighters back in the day had to work hard for their fame & fortune. Black fighters never ducked anybody, they had to fight whoever they could fight.

        Now somebody flipped the sript;

        Floyd dont wanna fight Cotto,Margarito,Mosley,Clottey,Paul Williams or anybody threathning; waiting for hatton v pacquiao winner

        Mosley dont wanna fight Cotto; waiting for hatton v pacquiao winner

        Bernard dont wanna fight Chad Dawson but wants to fight adamek who dawson beat

        Roy dont wanna fight williams, roy during his p4p prime was doing the same thing floyd was doing. he fought ruiz at heavy but didnt wanna fight lennox.

        I guess it poetic justice or ironic or something. i dunno.

          Right, Walt?
          It doesn't matter. There are plenty of guys who end up in competitive fights and fight the best out there. floyd always finds a way to get out of it. you guys care about words, like calling people out. I care about who is in the ring fighting. Floyd talk about it but don't be about it. He has had more than enough chances to be in real fights but it's alweays some excuse. did Shane make an excuse when Winky came calling. How bout when he jumped 2 divisions to fight Oscar in his prime. How bout shane fighting Collazo, that NO ONE wanted to fight.

            Who said that Oscar was a real fight for Pac Man? not me so ask someone else. Pac gets no props for that. He gets props for coming up from 106 to fight the real 140 champ. Floyd does not get props for having Hatton come up to his weight, when he could fight at 140 and get a real ring belt. Not one worn by Baldomir.
            Plus Pac fought JMM twice, Morales and Barrera since Floyd last fought a real fight vs Castillo in 2003 (6 years ago)

                Right then he had a toothache.....

                Oh save it Shane...

                Shane knows he cornered...

                He aint getting Floyd.
                He aint getting Pac-Hatton winner.
                Its either Cotto-Clotey-Berto or WILLIAMS.

                    JMM is Floyds tune up..he will beat his ass while shaking off the ring rust.

                    Why fight at 140 if you dont plan on being there???

                    He hasnt fought at 140 since 2005.

                    Why would his COMEBACK fight be there?

                    • I'm not surprised. I never really expected him to want a piece of Mosley.
                      He doesn't have the balls.
