Why demand Floyd to drop to 140?

JMM fight doesn't do anything to Floyd's legacy in my opinion. Sort of like Oscar if he would of won against Pac type.

I don't give a **** if Floyd gets a tune up, but do it against a dude who's a welter. I think he can beat a Collazo, Berto, Quintana type fighter.

he moved UP to fight a 154 pound power punching ODH.

JMM is scared to move up to 147 and fight a counter-punching Floyd??

Pac even moved up and fought at 147....no wonder Pac is greater then JMM.

So if he moved up to fight an Old Oscar who outweighed him by 10 pounds, why make excuses for him not fighting Cotto?

Floyd was competitive at 147, 1 division lower than where old Oscar was champion.

Hatton is undefeated at 140, 1 division lower than where he fought Floyd.

Williams is competitive at 160, 1 division lower than where Calzaghe fights

JMM is the champ at 135, 2 divisions lower than where Floyd wants this fight to tke place.

See the difference?

I agree but your not getting the business aspect of it. Being a fan and a fighter is totally different. Fighting Collazo, Berto, or Quintana wont give him any money. Not popular fighters. They have few fans but they arent mainstream.

Its the truth, Hatton was 1 weight class under Floyd and Floyd was 1 weight class under Oscar, Marquez is BARELY moving to 140 if he did what he did in 135 in 140 then I would understand for him to move up to 147 to fight Floyd, the thing about Manny moving up to 147 to fight Oscar was they BOTH agreed, If DLH would have said 154 believe me Roach and Arum would have said no, Oscar was willing to compromise, why can't Floyd fight Marquez at a catchweight of 145?
