George Peterson said a week out from the fight that Paul has to keep eating just to make 157, and that WW is his best fighting weight. But of course the idiots on here know more. **** them Malcolm. We know what the deal is.
Paul Williams vs. Miguel Cotto

I'm doubting the fact that Paul Williams doesn't walk around at 150s. I've already stated Williams could definitely beat Cotto. You're just trying to justify Williams fighting at WW saying he walks around at the 150s which is not the case at all.Comment

I can agree with this!
cos this make sense...
but cant take it as a fact.. until the fight happens.

I know man. Williams didn’t even weigh in at 160. They find it hard to understand there are many people who Williams have built.Comment

Or when he completely faded against Mosley right?? I didn't see Williams quit vs those loaded gloves. He won the 12th. Cotto screamed no mas and quit. Paul would end his career.Comment

How is it not the case when Williams stated it TWICE.Comment

George Peterson said it. Williams is top heavy, his legs probably weigh 10 lbs. He runs 7 miles a day and drinks gallons of water. He walks around at 154. That's why he comes in at 145 for his fight. He puts on a lot weight after because of the fluids. The guy is a gym fiend.Comment

Dude don't you like any other boxing topics?
Cotto didn't completely fade against Mosley, that's BS. Cotto fought well throughout, and chose to box in the 12th round to preserve the win.Comment

But he miraculously gains another 8 lbs the night of the fight? LOL craziness I tell ya. How are you going to gain another 8lbs in one night if you've been "trying" desperately to make even 157?
I mean to me, it aint a big deal. Now would it make sense for Paul to eat "a certain way" to make 157? Yea definitely. But is he eating heavily because he can't crack above 157? Hell to the Nah...Last edited by RL_GMA; 04-14-2009, 09:48 AM.Comment
