Doesn't make sense to me. You acknowledge Floyd Mayweather as the best P4P YET! JMM..

Floyd fight night weight would be 148. JMM fight night weight would be 144.

Everyone was expecting Oscar to be over 165 against Pacman. Also Oscar had height advanatge which PBF doesn't really

Why didn't Mosley answer PBF before?? Why now??? Please JMM is not small as you make him out to be

How well do you know he would come in at 148 again if he fights Marquez?

In a way I do feel Mosley left Floyd for Oscar, that's how I see it. Weren't you stans saying Floyd was the best Welter? Mosley has that spot now then, why doesn't he go claim his thrown? Since you guys regard him as a king.

Haha@ bold part. How many fights has MW fought at 147 and how many has Marquez had at 140+???

Again..are you 100% sure he will come at that same weight against Marquez? That's if he does fight him. Especially being away from the sport.

Sure, Juan Manuel Marquez should move up and fight Paul williams.

Tarver and Hopkins are about the same size, Juan Manuel Marguez is a small dude that already has moves up in weight, plus he isn't a quick fighter to began with. So if Mayweather is looking for a easy target someone that can just stay still while he runs away its a good idea.

Paul Williams wants to fight Floyd Mayweather why doesn't Floyd fight him, because he called out Floyd too.

Yea I AM 100% sure. Since PBF is 100% muscle and doesn't need to dehydrate himself like other boxers

He barely broke a sweat. All fighters cherry pick their opponents. Otherwise we'd see the same great fights we watched in the 70's and 80's. You make mention of Floyd fighting in his own weight class. He walks around at 155. What is his weight class? I've said it earlier. I think the reason he wants to have JMM meet him at 147 is primarily due to his long lay off and this is probably the heaviest he's ever been. It would probably be easier to come down to 147 at this point. As for your question of why retire in his prime? Man, he's been boxing since he was a kid! He said he was retiring after the Gatti fight too so the afraid theory really doesn't work. In fact, I believe he said that between the Hatton and DLH fight as well. I for one hated he retired. I thought the timing ******...lol. Finally, Marquez calls Floyd out and you really think he should say OK, if you want it so bad I'll meet you at any weight? That line of thought and reason is insane. Dude is retired and he wants him to come out of retirement. I really wish they would fight at 140. I'm not sure Floyd can get down to 140 in time. I think most of cats on here have never fought and don't know what's like to have leave your family and lifestyle and go into a training camp. It gets to be very annoying. It's unlikely that any of the top guys are afraid of one another. Everyone on here keeps saying ****** **** like that and calling them b*tches. that's not it at all. It really comes down to this, If I have to go into training and sweat and work my ass off, it has to be worth my while. The days of fighting solely for legacy and history are over! Look at the legendary fighters who did that . History didn't give damn about them being broke and brain damaged. The game is what it should have been for old timers. It's a business.

I here ya, I guess since I don't box I see things from a fan's perspective and not a boxer's. I know it must be hard as hell to leave your family and train and I understand the risk factor- same thing in football, no one cares about the guys with busted legs and bad backs after they are done with the game, they have to look out for themselves.

From a fan's perspective (without inside knowledge of a boxing lifestyle or having experience with boxing negotiations) it looks like he is going for the easy route although he should take a tuneup fight before a "mega fight". It seems like it is just not a fair fight is what I am saying- he is younger, faster, and closer to the weight that he wants to fight at. I know JMM is a top P4P guy but you have to admit, he does not look as good at 135 as he did at 130 and 126. I know Marquez called out Mayweather but Marquez just fights anyone and Mayweather has to know that it is a big mistake at a higher weight for Marquez. I just wonder would Mayweather find it worth the effort to attempt to fight at 140 should Marquez make any fighting weight demands?

Lets be honest here, at 140 there is a good chance JMM kicks Floyds ass.

Floyd just wants to fight JMM at a complete disadvantage.
