Paul Williams wants to fight everyone even Pacquiao so that statement is void.

Yes. Floyd isn't just a boxer, exercise is apart of his lifestyle period. He doesn't stay out of shape, hell even his father isn't out of shape and he is in his 50s. So, Floyd WILL come in at 147-148.

Haha@ bold part. How many fights has MW fought at 147 and how many has Marquez had at 140+???
Because not taking a tune up fight will make you end up like Winky-Williams.

Marquez natural weight isn't LW. Period. The man cuts weight to fight LW and be the biggest in the division when come fight night. Dont be naive boy-o.

Exactly. People here are really naive believing JMM is a natural LW. He can put on weight up to 147. The thing is, he has ZERO experience at that weight class. Which is why he will more than likely lose.

Floyd just wants to fight JMM at a complete disadvantage.
I doubt Floyd will make the weight. They'll say he made the weight just to make the fight, but on fight night Mayweather would be much bigger.

Well he didn't make the weight in his fight against Oscar de La Hoya. He came at a much lighter weight and still De La Hoya got to him.

Maybe not, but a catch weight of 143 would settle this. Hopefully this fight doesn't collapse because of something as minor as 4 pounds.

Juan Manuel Marguez has had only three fights in 130 and two at 135lbs. He's a smaller boxer and you can tell he looked anything, but skinny in his last fight.

Do you guys want to see a fight or the only thing you guys looking for is for Floyd Mayweather to win. If Floyd wants to fight at 147 then bring on Mosley, Berto, etc.

JMM is the same height as PBF and also has a MUCH bigger chest. So carrying weight shouldn’t be a issue, '

JMM has the advantage fighting a guy who has not BOXED for nearly 2 years

He is the one after the big payday, JMM just wants to beat the best and he is the one still active and fighting. When you retire like a b*tch, then you get treated like one...TRUTH!!
Quality post. Mayweather fought like a ***** most of the time anyway.

If he wants to come back, he better fight a real welterweight, this is pretty ridiculous. What will the nuthuggers say if he fights a guy who hasn't fought over 135??

Fight Mosley or Cotto you *****. If you need a tuneup fight, fight a welterweight, even a junior welterweight.

If not, then don't come back. Boxing clearly doesn't need him.

Basically, all Floyd fans are admitting is they dont want Floyd to be challenged. Period, point blank.
being weight drained and weak is not a challenge it's called being ******. it is easier for marquez to gain 12 pounds then for floyd to lose 5

sorry **** boy but you ain't gonna see floyd in the ring all weak and **** like oscar

You're right so Mayweather should move up in weight instead of Marguez and Floyd should fight Paul Williams or Kirkland. Or he should fight the real fighter from 147, Mosley, Berto, or the winner of Cotto vs Clottey.

But instead he saw the possibiity of fighting smaller fighters like Pacquiao and Marquez. He wants Marguez to go up in weight so he can have the advantage he had against Ricky Hatton.

JMM is busting ass, to get a big fight since who knows, and he have to take whatever floyd says.

Hey flash news, Floyd is not needed Here, the winner of Hatton-Pacquiao can fight JMM and the winner of Clottey-Cotto can fight Mosley, and tell Mr boat buyer to **** off!!!!!!!!!
Pac, Hatton and JMM are interested in Mayweather.
