If Floyd wants to fight at 147, why not just fight a WW?

Be honest. If you're a REAL boxing fan, why would u want to see a mismatched fight? Instead of defending Floyd's demand for a 130-135lb fighter to move up to WW for this fight, you should be advocating for this fight to take place at a fair weight where both fighters have an equal shot of winning. Never mind who called who out. Fine, if Floyd dont wanna move down, then so be it. The fight wont come off. I just dont understand your stance when it comes to being a fan of the sport. I myself want to see the best/most competitive matchups that we can get. These types of matchups are becoming very rare in our sport. Its almost as if you'd rather NOT see the fight materialize, rather than Floyd agree to fight Marquez at 140.

U also keep repeating that "Floyd is a WW". Fine. Then why dont he fight WW's? Why take a tuneup against a LW, if he plans on staying at WW?

It's all about match ups, I think he has a chance to lose if he fights a real 147 pounder and that's why he wants the little guys to balloon 10 to 15 pounds. Nothing new, typical Mayweather.

Its funny no one mentioned this talk about a catch weight when Floyd moved up to fight Oscar.....Not even Floyd fans.

They just all hoped Floyd would be too small.

He is! He's willing to move up to a weight that he's never even competed at, after having only 2 fights at 135, and take on the former pfp #1 fighter in the world. If u ask me, Marquez is willing to "man up" more than Floyd for this fight!

The funny thing is Cotto would outweigh Pacquiao more than Mayweather would outweigh Marquez but they're fine with that

I don't listen to the criticism anymore, all i hope is that Floyd comes back, Knocks out Pacquiao and solidifies his spot as the best fighter of his era

This fight is nothing more than a pre-cursor for Mayweather - Pacquiao
