If Floyd wants to fight at 147, why not just fight a WW?

That's fine, but then why not take a tune-up in the division that you're campainging at? Collazo would be a good tune-up. Why look 2 weight classes beneath u for a tune-up, then demand he come up to WW? If not, move down in weight if u want to fight lightweights.

floyd fighting pacquiao and marquez at 147 is like pacquiao and marquez fighting israel vasquez at 135.

pacquiao barely moved up to 130 a few years ago and marquez moved up to 130 in 2007 and it's okay for them to fight at 147 against a guy who started his career at 130?

if this was mosley or cotto looking for a big payday that's fine. they've been fighting guys at 147 that were legit 147 fighters.

floyd has fought ONE natural 147 fighter at 147 but yet he doesn't want to fight outside of 147. bull****.

I already know what Floyd Mayweather is going to say if this fight gets made. "I'm pound for pound best, baby. I'm the one and only- I'm not coming back to fight some chump. When Money May comes back he fights the #2 pound for pound, only because the #1 was busy; but ya'll gonna see- Floyd Mayweather is still pound for pound, not some little guy who beat up an old Oscar I already took apart"

Point? Floyd won't let the Marquez fight, a fight against a skill tactician who clashed well against Pacquaio, be seen as just another 'tune-up'. It'll be on PPV, it'll be hyped as his great return, he'll make millions.

It's not going to be billed as an easy fight. It's going to be billed as the return of the legend Floyd Mayweather.

So why lure a little man up to 147 to possibly ruin the legitimacy of this battle? Especially if you want to be an ATG.

JMM is much tougher then Alfonso Gomez or Johnson or that clubfighter P-Will fought on Floyd-Baldomir U/C. All the guys Floyd is ducking can have easy fights but Floyd isn't alowed to fight a HOF fighter even if it is at a weight too high for him. Coming off over a year of inactivity.

I would accept critisism for Floyd if it was consistant accross the board.
