I never corrected myself... I said the entire time... throughout the thread.. AND on your profile, the same thing consistently... a 2 year lay off can definitely effect a fighters timing...

i didnt "try" to explain to you.. i did... and then you agreed... and you should of, because what I said was true.

      keep explaining to me,

like i stated, a 2 year layoff wont exactly hurt anyones chances of being successful(newest example,Vitali)

Also like i stated, if someone is 2 blame of a 2 year layoff and coming back successful, blame the guy who wasnt disciplined enough to fight at that layoff retirement time, dont blame the layoff, the layoff was his choice and you being a almost floyd supporter put no blame on floyd, biasedly,

just because you hate floyd, doesnt make me bias towards him...

being inactive and laid off, CAN and WILL effect a fighters timing... and using vitali as an example is bull****, because he fought a plodding punching bag who quit in his corner...

floyd fighting someone like pacman, after a 2 yr layoff... thats WHEN the timing becomes a problem for an inactive fighter....

Im not posting blame on anyone...

I repeat... being laid off for 2 years can DEFINITELy effect a fighters timing... so take with it what you will

whos fault will it be if floyd loses due to a 2 year layoff, floyds not pac, floyd shoulda stayed active, he didnt, now you wanna make it out to be like it wasnt flods fault if he loses 2 years after a layoff, floyd choze to take a layoff, nobody else did,

who did vitali blame after his 2 year layoff loss to peter(LOL)

            this is getting intersting now

Wow.... Im not blaming anything... and im not excusing floyd if he loses... im not a floyd nuthugger, so i really could give a ****... and to be honest i wanna see pacman beat him...

              but regardless of all that...

it doesnt matter whose fault it is, that he was laid off... at the end of the day... pacman would of beaten an inactive Floyd....

theres no other way to shape that.. its the truth... he would of beaten a floyd with 2 years laid off...

Fighting sam peter requires no timing... so stop using vitali as a reason.

Now the way its lookin is he is going to have a tune up first and then try and fight the winner of pacman hatton... so all this is probably null and void...

No, he is already 27. If he was like 19 and at 160 then that might be different.

Toney went to heavy but he also had a lot of body fat. Jones went there but was at 193. Both those guys were bigger weight wise than PW as well. Hearns topped out at cruiser but he was old and shot at that weight and really topped out at 175.

So I would say he might go to 168 in the near future and possibly 175. I couldnt see him at cruiser unless he was old and fat.

Call Peter what you want but he was also a top 5 heavy at the time and Vitali would have beaten anyone in the division that night as he schooled Gomez as well this year.

Vitali stayed in shape and doesnt abuse his body during the layoff, so there are some parallels with PBF as he is dedicated in the same way. So we should hope to see PBF in good form in a comeback without a tune up.

why do you keep talking about vitali and peter?

what kind of timing was needed to fight peter?

Peter was a walking punching bag that required nothing but a little movement and a solid jab and that was IT... for all we know Vitalis timing was off, but it didnt make a damn difference because of how **** sam peter was...

so using that example doesnt work at all...

im talking about welterweights.. fast fighters, fighters like pacman... fighters where you NEED timing to beat them, like Floyd would need in order to beat Pac.

How do you not understand that?
