No, Ricky...you didn't "come in 2nd" the last time you fought The P4P #1...

I'm not denying that Ricky was beaten. Not at all. I just dont agree with the those who are saying that Ricky was "Anhililated" The above examples that i posted were what u would call "anhililated"

Go ahead diick breath. I dare ya! LOL
gonna have to go with Mosely vs Margarito..continuous hard punches to the head that knocked out one of the toughest chins in the game.

the Calzaghe beatdown was bad but def not the worst, he didn't even knock him out. Calzaghe isn't a huge puncher either.

how the hell, was Ricky not decimated? re watch that fight he got owned. I couldn't give him a single round, even the round where he landed "a heck of a jab".

If you watch closely he was getting tagged with big rights all night, it's any wonder he got knocked out. Ricky didn't land anything.

I agree. Mosley/Marg was just plain brutal!

Calzaghe might not be a big puncher, but Lacy's face looked as if he was taking on 3 guys in that ring. It wasnt as brutal as Marg's ass whoopin, but is was a first class spanking.

Up until around the 8th round, it was all just 1 punch and hold from Floyd. After that is when Floyd turned it up and started landing combos and beating on Ricky. Floyd indeed won, and did so impressively, but it was not a brutal beating.

Yea he was pot shotting, but he was really tagging Ricky in my book. It all caught up to him in the later rounds, you could see it on Hattons face.

No he was comprehensively beaten and decisively. It might not be noticeable the first time you watch it, but it's clear on repeats. He plays Ricky's greco roman hug wrestling game and beats him at it. Not only that but he Ko's him.

The only difference here and those other fights is that those beatings are more apparent and easier to see. What happens in the Floyd Ricky fight is more subtle, its still him imposing his will....

yea I agree, once you watch that fight over a few times, it really turns out to be a beating.

Funny, it was the exact opposite with the Floyd vs DLH fight, that fight seemed even closer once I re-watched it, not taking anything away from Mayweather.

                    Ricky/Floyd wasn't a brutal beatdown

Floyd/Gatti was a beatdown, Floyd/Corralles was a beatdown, Floyd/Ricky was an excellent performance on how to beat an inside fighter at his own game

                    It was not a beatdown
