Margarito was 30? So if Margarito best years were behind him
because of the wars, what about Mosley? Who moved up through
3 divisions and ****** out with a prime Oscar. Fought Vernon & Winky
2 times a piece? & Vargas twice? Mosley has been in WAY MORE WARS
then Antonio Margarito. Paul Williams fought Margarito when no one
wanted to & beat him in his so called prime according to you. Margarito
was a heavy favorite over Shane after his big win over Miguel Cotto,
so your making NO sense right now.
I will say it again in case you didn't understand my first post, Margarito was not PRIME when he fought Shane, he was in his prime 3-4 years ago when he tried to land a big fight but was never allowed to. He sat and fought a bunch of journeyman until he finally started getting his breaks at the last years of his prime.

Mosley will be a very lucky man if he gets to fight Pac or Hatton- massive paycheck and easy win. Can't go wrong with that..

i'd like to see williams versus DE la hoya. regardless of the outcome oscar can redeem himself then go to retirement. de la hoya has been the face of boxing for many years.hall of fame bound and there's no way he should retire after that paquiao debacle. take the fight, redeem yourself, then retire.

Neither are elite fighters above 140. Hatton has said he won't fight above 140 again. Roach has said that Pac's highest peak weight is 140 and that he wouldn't be competitive against the elite at 147.

No, he said "I don't want to fight him, he's too tall". It's not the money, it's the risk. He just has a bad track record against tall fighters.

This is a recipe for disaster for Mosley, and this coming from a fan of his since about 1998. Mosley to his credit has fought all this is constantly to this credit since day one, even in fights he shoulnd't have taken to prove what he's all about. He deserves his big pay day against the massive pay day kings in Pacquiao-Mayweather-Hatton etc. He is obviously a great fighter who has beaten the best, give the man his due. If FMJ gets his free pass against Marquez(who is no free pass at all given the right weight, ie 140 or 135, NOT 147 which is not even fair), why not Mosley? Mosley is badass. Give him his marquee fight already.
uh you just described margarito, who mosley destroyed. thats why mosley has a great chance at beating paul. if paul brang in the money like pac or hatton we would be seeing shane vs paul. paul is getting comfortable at mw, he's eating more, he aint coming back to ww.

Its a damn shame no one wants to fight this cat...He is entertaining and is a ***in beast! i think he wipes the floor with anyone @ 147. i think a good fight @154 would be the winner of Forrest/Martinez or Kirkland/Dzinzurik. At 160, i think he'd be comptetitive with any of the champs/contenders..........

So what? There's no talk bout Paco's last days of fighting? Sounds like he's still in the game with no interest of retiring in the near future.

As for the Filipino community, they're all talkin politics and *****. Paco for President this, Mayor that, Yadda yadda...Anyways.

I'd figure Paco would be considering retiring sometime soon. If he doesn't, he's got some tough ass opponents ahead of them.

Dude Margarito does not have the footwork or movement Williams has, Williams can also clinch (not a fan of this but can make or break a fight sometimes) and uses his jab constantly. Mosley will not be able to pull the same stunt he pulled on Tony against Williams bro, you are insane.
