Mosley to his credit has fought all this is constantly to this credit since day one, even in fights he shoulnd't have taken to prove what he's all about. He deserves his big pay day against the massive pay day kings in Pacquiao-Mayweather-Hatton etc. He is obviously a great fighter who has beaten the best, give the man his due. If FMJ gets his free pass against Marquez(who is no free pass at all given the right weight, ie 140 or 135, NOT 147 which is not even fair), why not Mosley? Mosley is badass. Give him his marquee fight already.
exactly, Mosley should stay the **** away from him and Williams should not even dream about fighting welterweights anymore.. They ain't gonna fight him anyway. He should fight Pavlik

Where are all the people hating on Mosley for wanting to fight smaller guys? Or is that just a requirement of Mayweather to fight the biggest and the baddest?

          I may agree...
And why the hell Sugariod Shane, wants to fight these smaller guys?
He believes he's in a very winnable position...
Does he thinks, both Pac and Hatton wants to fight him?
He may have to go down to 140lbs... maybe Pac and Hatton wont go up to 147.
Sugariod, is old and he should fight guys that will make an impact on his career, when he retires...
And not go after smaller fighters... a rematch with Cotto is good... what about if Clottey wins? Will he fight Clottey?
Maybe the reason he wants to fight the two most popular and bankable fighters is for the money obviously... for alimony...

Mosley's not going to risk a Paul Williams fight after coming off of
that big win against Antonio Margarito. Mosley wants the winner of Pac/Hatton because he will get very well paid and it's less risk for him.
I'd rather see him fight the winner of Cotto/Clottey. NO ONE at 147 is
going to give Paul some burn, unless he wants to fight Quintana a third
time but what's the point in that especially if there is no title on the line
at the least. Paul should stay at 154 or 160 & just go for a title.

I think Paul is being managed all wrong and his team should get a
really great agent and marketing specialist because this most feared
man in boxing label is not helping his cause. He may need to do some
TV appearances, commercials, etc..... The guy needs to promote and
market himself outside of boxing to build up his $ value & once he
becomes popular everyone will want to fight him.

Having a venue half full is not helping him especially since he is very dangerous. He has to bring something to the table. Instead of having
fights in Las Vegas, Al Haymon should just go to the other cities or
even his hometown & build his following. Seems like there trying to
over sell him, without properly selling him. But that's just my opinion.

The problem is that these guys are putting all their eggs in these lil guys baskets. Sugar Shane Mosley should have BEEN a mega $ fighter by now
but F@#!ed up by letting his wife run his business & making bad decisions with his career. Pac/Hatton have not even expressed ANY interest in fighting Mosley so in actuality he will be stuck with egg on his face after May 2nd. Floyd Mayweather Jr was right about Shane Mosley, he said that Shane Mosley beat Oscar De La Hoya and couldn't make his career happen after that. People may not like Floyd but he is the only fighter that can come on the scene and get a fight with ANYBODY & get PAID!! The same people who hate Floyd for doing it are the same people that want Mosley to do it. Paul Williams earned my respect with his performances thus far & I say that he needs to do things a lil more business like in regards to his career & he can become the man himself and not need these guys that are scared to fight him or don't see any gain for the risk.

At 37, after a HOF career, 5 titles in 3 weight classes and a bunch of defenses. Coming of a nice win over Margarito, I think Shane is just looking for one more winnable big money fight. Why in the hell would he fight Williams?

I feel you but Mosley had plenty of time to make that $ already. At this
point why would Pac/Hatton (The biggest stars in boxing) want to fight Shane Mosley? Can Mosley make 140? Will Pac or Hatton want to come
up to 147 for him? They haven't even express NO interest in Mosley, how
can he make them fight him? Mosley is going to be fighting either
Cotto or Clottey after the 13th of June then calling it a career if he
                  don't want to fight.

No way Shane make 140, but it's not like Pac or Hatton haven't fought at 147 before. Of course Mosley does a lot for either of their legacies. Clottey makes no sense and I'm not sure an even older version of Shane is going to be able to beat Cotto. But he needs to take advantage of his status right now as a top p4p fighter and the man at WW. Whatever the most winnable and biggest money fight he can get, he should get, and then retire, train his son.
