If that's the case then Cotto and Mayweather are pretty much the same damn size.. why not fight him?

So by that logic, Mike Tyson and Oscar De La Hoya are about the same size.

marquez is not a tuneup fight for mayweather at 140lbs it's just that floyd wants to fight the best in the walter weight division before he really retires to quiet the critics, marquez is still a danger to mayweathe's ''0'' but may be consider a tun up compared to a fight with miguel cotto or shane mosley.i think if floyd can beat both of this ww champions he can retire and there will never be any doubts that was the best of his time,he claims he is the best in the world but he knows he can't prove it by beating paquiao or marquez he needs the best in his division to be great.

Wow, that was stunning. Fact is, PBF doesn`t think idealistically like u do. `Money` Mayweather Jr. comes out of retirement only for a mega-money-fight with Pac, any tune-up fights leads to that, after which he retires! NOT with Mosley or Cotto. LOL

please explain the statement "carries the weight well". just because he did well at that weight is only a testament to his skill not his ability to "carry weight". and wtf does that even mean?
