The amount that people blow up after weighing in still holds some form of equivalence to the division they're fighting in because there's only so much weight you can put back on while remaining healthy enough to fight. it's because usually when someone has a tune up it's someone from thei OWN division and not two divisions below who even at his own weight class is a small dude.
