    truee..

and the kid is an outgoing guy!!!

when he was in puerto rico for his first fight with quintana.. he did a lot of charity here... and he got nice exposure.... in the news... newspaper.... etc et...

he seems a very nice kid.. who needs more exposure... his team needs to really put some money on him!!

can you imagine.. what it would be if paul williams was with TOP RANK>>??

he wouldnt be the most feared man in boxing.. he would have been god by now...

he can get a better work on that aspect of the game! and it will help him a lot!

That's only because they use those figures to gauge how well a fighters are seen by the people as far as fans, popularity, etc.

problem is nobody wants to see a 6-4 that only jabs jabs jabs jabs and looks like he's having a heart attack or something when moving

Vegas is a place where there should only be massive shows where the boxing show is the place to be, and it draws out the super wealthy, the stars, and most importantly has the gravity to bring in the casual fan.
              or
Much smaller shows put on by local promoters who have a good feel for the town. Where tickets can be purchased at a reasonable price so that the average Joe Schmoe can afford to have it as another entertainment option.

A card like Williams v Wright thats going to be too expensive for the little guy, but is not big enough to draw in the wealthy or make the little guy spend the extra money just to be there, was destined to fail.

This is also why the boxing universe is gravitating away from Vegas.

I'd be willing to be, this fight would have done much better just about anywhere other than Vegas.

Exactly. Though I understand the business side of Boxing, some fighters have yet to crack that level of being mentioned in any PPV fights or high profile match ups and are made to look like Gods. But it's the norm on here.
