Not so unbelievable when you look at the men he fought.

Billy Fox had 43 KO's in a row but many of them were fixed.

The most legit knockout streak was Wilfredo Gomez's who won 32 fights in a row, all by knockout.

It's not unbelivable when you look at the caliber of fighters he was knocking out. Here's his complete record
          http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php...9367&cat=boxer

Wilfredo Gomez was at one point 32 wins and 1 draw, and all 32 of his wins had come back knocked and against world class oppostion.

Earnie Shavers once went on a run of 27 straight KO'S.

Ruben Olivares knocked out 23 in a row.

Carlos Zarate's longest KO streak was 28 straight knockouts.

Henry Armstrong once stopped 27 in a row.

And now knockout sensation Edwin Valero is 25 fights 25 wins and 25 ko's.

I know that Rodolfo Gonzales and recently "Don Steele" KO'd numerous opponents in a row but the opposition they faced was so weak that it doesn't really tell anything about their punching power.

Gonzales did later go onto prove his power against world class opponents but he never had such a long streak of knockouts again.

Gomez on the other hand was knocking out world class fighters until losing to Salvador Sanchez, after which he went onto KO all of his opponents except granite-jawed Juan LaPorte at featherweight.
