This is a very good question.. Zarate would have amassed 53 straight KO's, but for 1 interuption.. A points victory over Victor Ramirez in Jan 74.. Will let you know when I get the answer..

SAMARAI cracked it, with Lamar Clark.. He holds the official record of 44 consecutive KO's.. Middleweight, Billy Fox is a close second with 43, but I would imagine these figures were exceeded before Queensbury Rules were introduced..

Alfonso Zamora was 29 - 0 29 Ko's before getting smashed by Zarate

                  Wilfredo Gomez was 32 - 0 - 1 32 Ko's before getting smashed by Sanchez

John Mugabi was 25 - 0 25 Ko's before getting smashed by Hagler

Acelino Freitas was 29 - 0 29 Ko's before going the distance with Alfred Kotey

Just throwing those numbers out there.

I think this is right... Although there is 0 way this should count... at all.

Someone else (championship caliber) had a streak over 40 KOs in a row. I can't remember who though...

It wasn't Zarate... his 2 20 KO streaks were broken up in the middle.
