I just don't like hypocrisy so Floyd fighting smaller fighters is criminal, while he should fight guys who outweigh him by larger margins

Only the weakest of people (wich floyd is) would consider this fight. But if the fight gets made, it has to be at 140 max. Marquez is sacrificing a huge part of his strength by requesting 140 alone, and Floyd still needs more?

Why are you using Mayweather highest weight at WW but using Cotto lowest weight??

Cotto lowest weight at WW is 153
Mayweather lowest weight at WW is 146

7 pounds difference


Cotto highest weight at WW is 159
Mayweather highest weight at WW is 148

Charles was 32, Marquez is 35 (maybe 36 by the time this fight comes off, ancient for a FW.) Charles was a proven HW, with wins over Walcott and Louis, Marquez has never fought above LW.

Why on earth would Floyd fight JMM when there are fights out there for him like Williams, Mosley, Cotto, even Pacquiao (who at least will have 2 fights above LW.)

His only addvantages are that he has power, speed and and is willing to fight more than most fighters. Thats not his fault that he's better.
