Why won’t PBF get credit beating JMM at 147?

But his buttlovers here claim that he is a undersize WW, but when it comes to fight a LW, he cant make 140. So wich one is it?
Floyd is a WW, but he is the smallest WW in the game, and so the difference between him and other WW's is 1 or 2 weight divisions

I would love for Floyd to fight Cotto or Shane, but when you take into account that Floyd has had a long layoff, and that at 140 he would be making a weight he hasn't been at in 5 years then the advantage goes to JMM

143 would be the perfect weight for this fight

I just find it hypocritical that Floyd gets criticised for fighting JMM when coming out of retirement and yet if Margarito beats Floyd it's a great win despite the size difference being bigger

If Floyd fights JMM at 140, i think JMM should be favourite and if Floyd wins it would be a huge accomplishment, but i could still see people criticising Floyd

Floyds become a full fledged WW who's fought as high as 154. Floyds being a *****. If he wants to fight at 147 then he needs to pick a WW to fight. Does everyone forget that Floyd never fought a WW besides Baldimir. The guy wants to fight at 147 but does'nt want to fight anyone who ways 147. It's pathetic. If you the P4P best you should'nt need advantages. The guy never fights a WW then retires for 2 years because everyone was putting too much pressure on him to fight a welter. Now he comes back 2 years later and still does'nt want to fight a WW. If you can't fight a WW then he should down to 140. plain and simple. Anyone with half a brain can understand this. At 140 this fight will be competive but Floyd wants it to be a one sided beatdown thats why he want it at 147. Floyd won't fight if he thinks the other guy has a chance of maybe landing a punch. This is officially the biggest ***** move!

It's not an advantage for JJM at 140. Marquez has only fought as high as 135 so he would be moving up as well. This fight should never happen at anything more than 140. If this fight takes place higher than 140 then I will wait to download it rather than buy the PPV. At 140 it's a PPV worth buying and a really good fight. At 147 it will be boring because Floyd will make the little guy chase him around all night and try to walk him into shots. Thats not PPV worthy and since Floyd only cares about money than this should be a no brainer. The fight is worth more at 140, there is more risk which means more money in this situation.

Don’t you find hypocritical talking about reach and height when boxing is based on weight

Trust me, if it's at 140 put your money on JMM , he will win

Floyd will look like Oscar did against Pacquiao, JMM may be a LW but he can jump up a division similiar to what Floyd did at 154

agreed 200% that's what people need to understand. if he say that he can't make the 140 anymore, it's ok for us, now go and fight real WW and stop picking other fighters and making them go up for ur advantage.

when he fought against hatton at 147 i knew that gayweather was going to win. now at 140 maybe the history might be diff

And Cotto weighs 159 at WW. 5 pounds difference(using Williams highest weight at WW).

Yet Cotto - Mayweather would be 11 pounds difference (Again using their highest weight at WW)
