    JMM isn't she?

JMM is actually afraid to fight Valero, that's for sure. JMM's calling out to fight Floyd is a fake because he knows that he cannot fight Floyd at 147. JMM says that he is a better fighter than Pacquiao, then he should fight Floyd at 147 as what Pacquiao did against Dela Hoya. The fact is, Pacquiao jumped from 135 to 147 in order to fight Dele Hoya. The matter with JMM is that he always cackles like a chicken even if he knows that he couldn't lay eggs. The mere truth is, JMM is really scared of Valero that is why he wants to get out of 135 but also he doesn't want to go to 147. Therefore, JMM is nobody else but a mere chicken champion.

I did'nt say he called out anyone. I said the guys he's interested in fighting are at 140 or lower. Before you post make sure you make sense. Stop just typing non-sense just so you'll look like you make sense.

          Guys,

What's being uncovered here is that many of you don't really know or understand why 140/147/154 would be fair or unfair for Pac or Jmm or FMJ or whatever.

You hear a number, and you react emotionally. Take a breath, and think it through.

I don't know if any of you have ever participated in any "make weight" sports. I did. I wrestled at a fairly high level. Here's an example:

Senior year, i was walking around at about 173, and wrestling at 167. Most of the guys at 167 would walk around in the high 170's, so I was at a very small size disadvantage, no big deal. But i was always very strong for my size, so it was no issue for me. I was fortunate to do very well.

Our 178 guy got hurt, and I was asked to move up to 178. The guys wrestling at 178 walked around at close to 190. So now I was at a bigger size disadvantage. But it also meant that I could eat and drink on match day. We had same-day weigh-ins (a few hours before match time). I had the flexibility to get bigger (if I wanted to).

          So here's the deal:

If you are fighting an opponent who walks around substantially above the contract weight, then you need to closely monitor the contract weight.
If you are fighhting a guy who is close to/at the contract weight, THEN IT DOES NOT MATTER. If you don't believe me, go ask an amateur or pro boxer.

Mayweather won't be 152, 155 on fight night. He will be 148. Maaaaybe 150 MAX. Marquez (I'm guess-timating) will be 145 on fight night.

Dude was fighting at 126 two years ago. Floyd should lose them damn seven pounds and make it happen or go to hell. Floyd comes in weighing 147 on fight night anyways.

Boxing and wrestling are like night and day completly different sports. When you get tired in boxing the only thing you can do is wrestle so that tells you something right there.

The fight at 147 is not unfair in anyway to anyone. Floyd is not the type of fighter who cuts weight and hydrates 14lbs overnight. What Floyd weighs in at at the official weigh-in is very close to what he will weigh on fight night. Against Oscar he actually weighed in at 150, but entered the ring at 148. That was for the 154 title against a 167lb Oscar. No one said that was unfair.

Pac was 147lbs when he faced Marquez. Marquez 144lbs. That was for the 130lb title, which I thought Marquez should have retained.

If Floyd vs Marquez happens at 140lbs, you'd have to expect Floyd to cut down 8lbs or so from his "in shape" weight. I think that could weaken him and possibly affect his stamina or legs.

I don't see what the problem is if Floyd fought Marquez at 147. It's not like Floyd will enter the ring at 160lbs+ like the other welters. He will enter at 147, the SAME weight Pacquiao was when he faced Marquez.

Marquez is p4p2. If he can't fight fight Mayweather with them both weighing their prime weights, then GTFO the p4p list. Marquez is prime at 144 (ring entrance weight), and Floyd is prime at 147 (ring entrance weight). 3lbs difference is not much for p4p2 fighter.

HBO play's BS with "weight classes". They said Pac was fighting a "huge" Oscar, but Oscar weighed in at 145lbs. That's less than the entrance weight of Pacquiao when he was fighting in the super-featherweight division, LOL.

Don't pay attention to weight classes, pay attention to fighters RING ENTRANCE weight. Marquez fighting Floyd at welterweight is NOT the same as Marquez fighting someone like Mosley or Margarito at 147. Who both come in as ***ing light middleweights.

And if Floyd comes in weighing 147 on fiight night, what does that tell you?
That is lower than what many LW's/JWW's weigh in-ring.

De La Hoya was'nt even close to being the the P4P best either. So whats your point? Don't talk if you don't make sense.
