Both sides have good points to support their idea...it is true Marquez called Mayweather out...but so has half of the WW division, so to take the smallest guy calling you out and making him fight at a weight your comfortable with but not the top guys in that weight IS a ***** move (even though I can see Floyd beating most if not all of the WWs) I think they should meet at a catchweight 143-145 at the most.

No **** he does.....I'm just saying that Bradley poses enough of a danger being a young prime fighter that's actually close enough in weight....combined with Mayweather's layoff....for nowhere near enough reward that it's a turnoff for Mayweather

lol, Mayweather standing toe to toe with anybody. Floyd is a great boxer, and a piss poor fighter. He'll box Marquez to death, but Juan will bring the fire, Floyd the water.

I think he means if they box(I think he will be more competitive boxing with Floyd then brawling with him) even though Marquez is my boy I just can't see him beating Floyd. :[

Why do you think they haven't already jumped on the chance to have him back and locked him up. A couple weeks back they mentioned the exact same thing being the main problem for Floyd's comeback. I would school you on the reasons why Mayweather really does need, but I don't feel like rambling plus you'll just dispute the validity of what I say. I could probably round up different quotes from past boxingscene articles, but it'd take me at least an hour to round up the quotes. If Floyd wants a fight before the Pacquiao-Hatton winner, he needs JMM.

It would take at least 15 mil to get Mayweather and Marquez in the ring together, I seriously doubt it would be on regular HBO.

Was anyone expecting Gatti to do ANY GOOD against Floyd (boxing or brawling), I wasn't a Floyd fan but even I knew Gatti was going to get his ass whooped.
