Nah I don't compare him to Marg whatsoever. He's a lot more slick than Margarito is and moves his head a lot more. He's more of a boxer in the sense of how he sets his punches and combos up. Margarito uses his pressure and tries trapping you to where he can throw a barrage of punches, but skillfully he's no where near Paul.
No wonder Cotto waited for the WBO to be vacated
Hence why I'm eager to see a fight with him and Williams. It's a test for both guys and a fight I can see either winning, but Pavlik maybe taking the shots better than Williams (who we have yet to see take a punch from a legit 160).[/QUOTE
when he moves up to 154-160 he will have better fights and fighter that actually match up good with pwill. imo that when he will emerge if he is really that good or go down and be exposed as a bust.Comment
It doesn't really matter if you are that much of a puncher or not when you throw 100+ per round and have a pretty decent land % rate. He overwhelms his opponents and hurts them in the process, also despite his size he can really nag to the body really good. The only thing I see is that might come off as him not being a big puncher is that he doesn't sit on his punches sometimes, he fights on the move and doesn't really put that extra mustard on his shots. I'm telling you, this dude is the black version of Margarito with a much better foot work, speed and size.
who are you describing???? Kirkland... yes he will end this PWILL bandwagon BS !!!!Comment
