Winky is a tough SOB!!!

Man he showed a ton of heart. He fought hard he was just overmatched. But that never stopped him from giving an honest effort. You could see half way into the fight he was really tired, but he kept on going. Much respect to Winky.

Never bought him bein stopped, but my fear of him gettin outworked came to life. I'm glad he fought his ass off til the end without resignin to defeat tho.

thats the wink, he got dropped 5 times in his first HUGE step up in class and finished the fight.....now a very rusty and old him got hit with some good shts and didnt stop trying...

i wish he retires......nothing else he can do......

Yeah, Winky is very tough. I was impressed he was still able to pick off a lot of Williams punches early on like he used to in his prime. But Williams enormous work rate got to him. Williams is undoubtedly a beast.

Wright was never endanger so physical toughness was never in play.

He did show mental toughness though, standing in in a fight with a guy who wouldnt stop throwing..... Wasnt Williams low output for a round in the mid-80s?

never was that big fan of winky but i respect the hell out of him....true world class, hard ass nails pro who should go to the HOF.

considering the fact that:

he had a 2 year layoff
is 37
is a defenseive fighter
doesnt have much power
throws mostly jabs
fought someobody who throws a 1000 punches, has a bigger reach, is 10 years younger and much taller

i think winky did well... no way he shoudl retire
