    BUT

Hatton has been able to get inside on EVERY opponent. And I have seen MANY guys get inside on Pac. If Hatton was able to get inside on Floyd, dontcha think he will get inside on Pac?

And what does he do when he gets inside??? Nothing hatton's inside game is way overrated tbh.

Floyd did the same as Collazo, they showed Hatton that they can fight in the inside and when Hatton figured that his power wasnt effective, he was done mentally in the fight. After 4 rounds against Collazo he was done the same vs Floyd.

If Floyd wanted it to, he would off kept hatton at bay and Potshot his ass easily and win a boring UD. But he chose to follow Collazos plan!!!!!!!!
Personally, I think Floyd would have rather fought Ricky in a switching between mid-range, and in the pocket. Like he did with Gatti.

But Ricky's ability to close the distance pretty much shattered that, so he let Ricky fight his fight in the pocket with him.

Turns out he was a much better inside fighter than anybody has ever given him credit for.

So Ricky's fans blamed the referee instead.

First hatton is no whirlwind, he needs to hold first to throw, he doesnt have any type of jab and he rushes in with his hands down. With Pacs fast hands, he will get his face ripped with Combos over and over, Hatton camnt dogde and left hand for ****.

Manny will box circles around Hatton, his movement and foot work, plus his fast combos will be his defense.

The same as Collazo did, after hatton found out, that he couldnt hurt either guy on the inside he was done!!!!!!!!

If FLoyd wanted it to, he would of kept hatton at a bay and win a boring UD, but he chose the right game plan, Collazo laid the blue print!!!!!!

1 Question, what Hatton will do if mauling doesnt work and his power doesnt trouble Pac!!!!!!!!
Floyd let Hatton come inside when after Unc Rog said "you ain't gotta move away from that muh****a, you hurtin' him inside". Remember?

Answer: hatton doesn't have to hurt Pac to win. Hatton didn't hurt Tszyu, urango, or collazo. The brawling and mauling makes the judges award him the rounds. We know what's a 'hatton fight' or a 'pacquiao fight'.

I think this is the biggest misconception; that Hatton needs to really hurt Pac. It is enough to maul and wear him down and get the rounds.

Tell me what fight i should go to to see Pac fighting effectively with his back to the ropes.

Pac is no doubt great but I think 140 is where it stops just like 160 was where it stopped for Tito. One cant just keep moving up in weight thinking they will dominate, it will eventually end.
Yea, but haven't you heard? Pac isn't human, he's some kind of invincible God of boxing that stands no chance of losing to anyone...

Pac is an in and out type of fighter. Does anyone think Pac can stay on the inside against Hatton? Will he get any leverage on his left straight

"whirlwind" was a bad word. He isn't like Williams or aaron pryor.

But he comes flying at you fast. I have seen skilled boxers thrrown off balance by hatton's bullrush jabs (Floyd, Collazo)

Side note: i have been training Ricky to keep his right hand up.

That was kind of gay. Hattons fans crying because Cortez didnt let him hold.

This is what I think Pac will have trouble with. Manny doesn't have those old-school inside dirty tricks like FMJ does. Hatton will get inside. That is clear. But what will/can Pac do inside? That is where my confidence in Pac falters. If you remember, that DIOS guy predicted that Floyd would beat Ricky inside.

Hatton is MOST susceptible to the left hand when he's coming in. If QUIS knows that, I assume that FMS knows that and he is correcting it. Crazy-gluing Ricky's right glove to his cheek.

I'm counting on hatton getting inside, roughing Pac up. That is the most likely scenario to me.
Agreed. You know I hate Ricky too.

But I give the little bastard credit when it comes to cutting off the ring and closing the distance : He's great at it.

And he's definitely going to do that with Pacquiao, no doubt.

But I think the real question is : What will he do once he's there?

Pacquiao isn't a teriffic inside fighter. He prefers to fight at mid range, dart in, get his shots off, and duck back out in flurries.

So Ricky has the advantage on the inside, so long as he plays his cards right. If I were him, I wouldn't even bother watching much tape on Pacquiao.

I'd go look for some videos of really great inside fighters, and take notes.

Because while his inside game is better than Manny's, it's not at that elite level either. And if he doesn't use his size and strenght to muscle Pac around a bit, Manny will just dart out of danger before ricky can really get going.

BTW, I knew it was you. Once you called me "Breezy". Good to have you back.
