Hopkins has always been labelled a "spoiled sport" throughout his career. Especially with the wya he reacted after losing to Taylor. But I really don't think you can blame the guy, he was on his 21st title defense, and a people felt he won those fights, or at least 1 of them. (I had him winning the rematch.)

But him showing up front row to actually make good on his word, and cheer for Jermain, surprised the hell out of me.

I thought he was just making empty promises. But he came through on his word.

None of that **** gets close, to Duran giving 200Ks to Esteban De Jesus and his family, when De JEsus, was almost dieying of HIV. He even came to his funeral, and help De Jesus family afterwards!!!!!

De jesus was the first man to beat Duran.

And he did the same thing for Wilfred Benitez.

Duran was a real gentle, even tho he didnt looked like!!!!!!

Agree, it dosn't get better than this.. Remember seing it in '*Beyond the Glory - Duran'' It was really moving.. Duran was great.

Yeah... although I seriously see no way that Hopkins could have possibly won the first fight. He gave away the first 8 rounds (I don't see a lot of argument on how he didn't).

Whatever... either way. I do think it was easier for Hopkins to bury that rivalry with Taylor because Taylor is a real stand-up guy and had a lot of good things to say about Hopkins at all times.

I have gay assed Yahoo. My hard drive it packed to the gills with fights, and I only have a small amount of free space left.

So AIM is out.

If you want to download Yahoo I can chat you up on there. I made Hyperion download the gay thing and his life has improved ever since.
