    Exhibitions of Great Sportsmanship

    1. Morales's post-fight interview after Barrera I - He talked about how Barrera almost had him out multiple times (and it wasn't like he was stumbling around half-dead, so... it wasn't so evident that it would have been impossible to deny it), and that he couldnt' fight at 122 anymore, because the weight was weakening him, but when asked if he would give Barrera a rematch at 126, his response was "Mucho gusto". IE with pleasure... he deserves it.

    2. Bute's reaction to Andrade's win over Tsypko - He stood up, clapped, touched Andrade's glove and gave him the thumbs up. I thought that was pretty tight, considering the ****ed up way the first one went down, and the fact that they are probably going to be fighting a rematch really soon.

    3. Williams's post-fight interview after the Quintana fight - He said the usual... "I take nothing away from _______ (my opponent)", but this time... he actually didn't. Everyone else says that and then piles on a million excuses. All Williams had to say was "I never got into my rhythm.", and that was true. It also is true that Quintana was the cause of that. He said something like "You can't take winning if you can't take losing, I'll just go back to the gym and fix the mistakes I made." I just thought this interview was really good for him.

    4. Andrade's composure after the Bute fight - God, he had every reason in the world to act like he was made entirely of ****s, but... he hugged the referee, hugged Bute, and gave a really good post-fight interview. This was the most amazing thing I saw all night, which is crazy, because I was very impressed by Bute's skills and Andrade's will. The sportsmanship from Andrade was amazing.

    5. Taylor's post-fight interview in his locker room after Pavlik I - He was told that he was ahead on the scorecards, and he was like "Hmm, I'm pretty sure I was losing the fight." It wasn't a huge deal but it's just so rare that it was really refreshing to hear that he was willing to admit that the judges were scoring it wrong and he was down on points.

None of that **** gets close, to Duran giving 200Ks to Esteban De Jesus and his family, when De JEsus, was almost dieying of HIV. He even came to his funeral, and help De Jesus family afterwards!!!!!

De jesus was the first man to beat Duran.

And he did the same thing for Wilfred Benitez.

Duran was a real gentle, even tho he didnt looked like!!!!!!

        For real though.

Hopkins after beating Tarver, and Hopkins after beating Pavlik.

After the Tarver fight he seemed to finally let go of the close decision losses to Jermain Taylor. He even leaned out of the ring to HBO's table, and talked with Emmanuel Steward (Taylor's trainer at the time). He told him that he would be rooting for Jermain against Winky the next week, and sure enough, he showed up and he did root for Taylor.

After the Pavlik fight, he was just generally humble. More humble than I've ever seen him in the ring before. He talked about motivation, he told Kelly he was still the king of 160, even gave him some pointers on different things, like bending his knees, etc.... He also made ammends with Larry Merchant, it seemed. Him and Larry have always had a rocky relationship.

Tyson after getting brutally beaten by Lewis.

Mike talked of his respect for Lennox, and even reached out his hand and gently wiped some blood off of Lennox's cheek. Undoubtedly, it was Mike's own blood. But it was genuine nonetheless.

This is true. Lampley loves Marco more than I do.

              And that's saying something.

Both posts are good Bringer. I forgot about Hopkins cheering for Taylor against Wright.

How you two are best friends I'll never know...

                    Hyperion - Wright/Morales fan.
                    Bringer - Hopkins/Barrera fan.

                    WTF...

Me and Warp are Wright and Hopkins respectively, but... we both have a lot of respect for the other guy. You two are a mystery to me.
