The man was training for a fight at 175 and was getting HARDER to make weight. Because of age what made the situation worst was the 2 week notice he got. That is why he entered a 2 week weight draining regime

Is his wins better then tysons wins over spinks and holmes? I think if you look at Calzaghes overall resume, he has fought better fighters then tyson and has beaten the better fighters. Tyson lost to mcbride that irish bum and buster douglas. I personally rate Hopkins(even old hopkins call him what you want, the same old hopkins who schooled pavlik), and a win over kessler is better then holmes and spinks.

If your going to bother writing that Shieka and Reid were "prime" then point out how Hopkins was 43 and Jones was so shot it was embarrassing to even consider that a legitimate fight. Also point out how Lacy is terrible and barely even world class. Also point out how Kessler never beat a legitimate opponent and Eubank was a part time shell of a fighter when they fought.
