Marquez is the type of fighter to keep Pacquiao in "check". Keep him in his place, not too confident.

Hatton is the type of fighter to time Pacquiao and KHTFO.

That's because Pacfans only have one hero, so they will be more biased. In the USA, Asia (Outside Pac's homeland), Europe, Russia, etc. Marquez is considered the winner by around 70% of the public, and 80% of the boxing analysis. (including in Pac's homeland)

very well said... I can see that too. If Hatton can pressure Pacman...Hatton's chance of winning will be much higher.

Yea, I totally agree. Pretty much all of Manny's opponents have been tailor made for him. They will stand in front of him, not put him under any pressure and allow Manny to do his in/out style boxing and land the combinations because they don't move. Even JMM didn't put him under pressure, but the guy's a smart counter puncher and so was able to do well against Pac's style. Hatton is going to be the first opponent to constantly move forward at him, he will be jabbing his way in, using awkward head movement, feints and constantly slamming Pac to the head and the body. In most of Pac's fights he has been in control of the ring - it will definitely not be the case this time. His only chance of winning will be to fight in the style of Mayweather, and he won't be able to do it anywhere near as good.

Marquez was successful in that he waited, out thought, timed, and knew what Pac was going to do. Plus Marquez is a master at countering and when Pac attacks, Marquez capitalizes when Pac threw that left or was off balance.

-Hatton aint Marquez and has NO COUNTER SKILLS or the SMARTS that Marquez has
                  I feel the same...

Hatton does not have the style to beat Pac. He'll be outclassed.

People will be saying Pac could beat PBF after this fight.

                    Hatton hasn't got Marquez's skills.

                    Pacquiao by late TKO.

Mayweather is worse. Here's a guy who was saying Hatton was crap not so long ago. I don't believe he genuinely thinks Hatton has magically become brilliant. At least Roach believes in his fighter.
Amazing what being on somebodys payroll can do. Before Sr was on Hattons payroll he said he wasn't even as good as Gatti lol
