I think if you are a establish fighter in another division you have to beat people ranked in the Top 10 in that other division your fighting at, to be ranked.

And to be ranked top 5 you have to beat people in the top 5.

Yes exactly, like if you move up and beat the #5 guy in that weight class you then become #5.....but wait we can't do that because that would make sense.

No, I didnt said if you beat the number 5 that automatically will make you number five.

I said to be in the neighborhood of the Top 5, you have to beat people out of the Top 5.

Lets say if you beat the number 7 in the list and the number 4, You could be ranked number 3, depending on how you beated those guys!!!!

Possibly, we then get into so many hypothetical issues, like how other fighters ranked above 7 and up to 3 got to be where they currently are. Whether they got there by a close decision, or brutal ko makes a big difference when ranking someone who beat a #7 fighter above those fighters.

II didn't agree with the decisions in the Pacquiao-Marquez fight therefore i think Marquez should be number 1 p4p.

Me too, they were both close fights. Rankings are not really that important, what is, is the court of public opinion and the overwhelming opinion is that they are very evenly matched fighters.
