But in the UK we generalise big to cover a wide variety of meanings. Big can mean weight, height, width, length, whatever it may be. We tend not to specify the exact meaning, as it is implied.

Some of you guys don't know the difference between size and weight. Hatton weighs more but is the smaller fighter. If you had two boxes one filled with lead another twice the size filled with polystyrene. Which one is bigger?
