When did Joe Calzaghe become an ATG??

A lot of people consider Calzaghe an ATG,. personally I don’t

But my question is when did he become an ATG fighter.

Was it before the Hopkins fight. Did you consider him an ATG after his wins over past it Eubank Lacy and Kessler.

Or was it after his controversial SD over Hopkins.

Who honestly rates him as an all time great? The man just retired undefeated and very few even talk about him. Hes not an all time great and never will be. Just compare it to Mayweather. The guys been gone for a year and a half and all you see is thread after thread about him. I know hes still maybe going to be active but for a while there was no indication of a return yet so many threads. You can tell the difference between an all time great and just a good fighter.

Probably after 21 title defenses, winning all of the belts at 168, then moving up and beating top 5 p4p Hopkins. I wouldn't put him in the top 50, but he definitely cracks the top 100 ATG list.

Wonder what your two active threads have in common there Flawless?

i agree on calzaghe not being an all time great but you can't use mayweather as a measuring stick, giving how many fan boys are on this site.

Dariusz Michalczewski defended his WBO light heavyweight title 23 times and was a two weight division champion

Does that make him an ATG??

Calzaghe's win over Hopkins is questionable. It was not even a good performance

many ppl consider Joe an ATG because of his 20 str8 title defenses, a good feat for anybody, but his resume dosnt scream ATG like a RRJ or a Hopkins dose
