Unlike Trinidad, Calderon or Juanma, Miguel does loves to drink. Women are the real reason why his wife went away. Then you get all those tatoos at once. I dont know... But Miguel's loosing it. There you had Camacho,Rosario and the great Wilfredo gomez who were great but enjoyed life a little bit too much.

I cant hate on dude's life style. Especially if it involves alcohol and women. The guy shows up to his fights in shape and delivers our money's worth.

Most of us Puerto Ricans are shocked and dissapointed in Cotto. Unlike Mexicans we do not fear the truth and understand that there are more important things than boxing. If some of the stuff ive been reading is true Cotto may deserve jail time for this. It is with great dissapointment that I say this. But this kind of behaviour cannot be allowed in a civilized society. Law and order must be respected.

The thing with some Boxing fans is that they want to believe that their favorite fighters are invincible but that is not the case. At this point in his career Miguel Cotto needs to step his technical game up in the ring because we all know that he is a polished offensive fighter but that is just not enough when you go against guys that can take that power & pressure away from you. Cotto knows the deal and what's best & that's why the beef with his uncle blew up because his uncle don't want to face the fact that he can only take Cotto but so far and wants to control his career but Miguel is ready to step up.

Agree 100%. I'm shocked at so many people saying on here that trainers are overrated. When I first walked into a boxing gym, I thought I was a little badass 'cause I fought all the time at school and on the streets, but that didn't mean **** in the ring! A fighter can have some "natural" ability as far as power, chin, heart go...but a good trainer is essential to show you how to use those abilities in the best way.

Cotto is definitely gifted, but when facing world-class competition, he needs a solid corner behind him to get ready.

i gotta agree, mcgirt is the only guy from florida and he isn't training anyone for a big fight.
