I'm talking straight up. How can you say IF he tried to cheat for the Mosley fight? Him and Capetillo got caught cheating before he went into the ring. He is a cheater. He can deny it but it's right there on paper in Black & White.

Resto and Mpofu were both banned for life. Only difference is that Margarito was caught before he could use the plaster, but the intent was the same and it's not like it was just an idea in his head, the plaster was found on his knuckle wrap.

Roach would turn Margarito into a boss. Margarito is a slugger which is exactly what Roach likes his fighters to be. The thing is that Margarito isn't a smart slugger. Thus Roach will sharpen up his footwork and give him a way better gameplan than just going forward. Pacquiao was the same way and Roach turned him into a gem. Maybe Roach will polish Margarito. He may not be a diamond but never the less he can be a ruby or something of the sort.
Roach can do this. Margarito isn't a slacker either, I seen some of his training sessions. Roach would turn Margarito into something good. Maybe not ATG but never the less, great for the moment.

OK, my bad for getting it misconstrued but I still don't agree with you on that aspect of Freddie Roach should train Margarito but only if he didn't cheat before Mosley? I still don't understand that point of view your putting out there. Antonio Margarito got caught red handed and he shouldn't be fighting period but instead he's out here looking for Trainers, considering fighting in Mexico and talking about potential rematches with Cotto and Mosley? This guy is a joke & is not taking his suspension seriously and to me is staight up TRYING to play everyone like a fool.

In defense of Mosley. That fight was at 154 and Mayorga was about 170 pounds in the ring. Mosley said Mayorga was very, very strong that night.

No need to defend him, as i don`t blame him I just find it su****ious...

Coming back to the Mosley-Mayorga: on my "scorecard" Mosley was behind before the stoppage, which IMO was caused by Mayorgas foolishness, and Mosleys great skills, as he took advantage of the situation immediately...

I never really liked Mosley, but, My God, he was good in Margarito fight...

i hope he takes it unless its proved that he cheated before the mosley fight. Margarito whether everyone here likes it or not will probably be back in a year unless either A. evidence is shown that margarito cheated long before or B. Margarito fights in mexico. Margarito wants to redeem himself in terms of at least showing that his whole career success is not because he used plaster or anything else. Roach could help him achieve that goal. Honestly its better for the sport if he comes back and has success rather than having this black cloud over boxing!
