I've always thought John David Jackson would be the perfect trainer for Cotto...Miguel has the kind of natural athleticism that JDJ makes the most of.

My heart is breaking for Miguel right now because - professionally speaking - he is a man on an island.

He had already come out and voiced a great deal of displeasure with the way Arum was handling the Margarito matter. And we know how much of a 'company man' Migs is. That had to sting.

Now, the cold-but-stable trainer/fighter relationship has blown up and become a public mess. And Migs is a private guy. It hurts doubly when it's family. There's no way this doesn't drive a deep, divisive wedge across the family.

Stay strong, Mijo. In this time of need, you can always turn to your eyebrow sculptor for support.

Hay que ponerlo en la lista de los delicuentes del ring como Margarito, tyson y otros" most people there are placing the blame on Miguel Cotto This can play a major factor if cotto losses in the Garden highly unlikely TEAM COTTO!!!!!!

I actually think Jose Bonilla would be a good interim trainer, he's based in PR, and has worked with Edison Miranda and Carlos Quintana. While they might not be Hall Of Fame fighters both fighters and talented with Carlos having solid boxing skills. Jose and Miguel might gel well

I don't get it. I wasn't there but from what I'm reading, Miguel didn't do anything wrong so I don't understand the statement "both men broke the law".

Miguel basically defended himself when he was attacked and his uncle is a psycho who initiated the attacks twice and once throwing a brick at miguel which missed and hit his car.

The way I see it, only Evangilista broke the law here.
