Moreover he cant fight every domestic fighter available, Calzaghe didnt do it, Hatton didnt do it.

Khan has also fought Earl and limond but i see you conveniently left that out of your post/arguement.
Thanks for saving me the trouble buddy. lol

Khan is out of dometic level. Just a fact, until someone beats him and puts him back in it. He has actually beaten more than enough of those domestic fighters to have a leap in class. If John Murray wants it, he should make his own movements.

Khan has a far stronger resume than Murray anyway.

      He's done good.

The way I see it, if you constantly criticise Khan at this point in his career, you have to be some kind of ****, really.

Khan is good fighter and he has taken smart move of moving up in weight .in this way he can fight lot of good fighters in light welter weight. Light weight fighter has to up weight to fight with him and in this way is gonna be hard for them .......Smart move, gets more fame and in money wise toooo

Kotelnik would be a huge win for Khan seeing it in the light of Maidana beating Ortiz.

Kotelnik won a close fight with Maidana and is a very good boxer.

It's a huge step up for Khan considering he's not very far away from the Prescott loss yet.

I don't think you could ask for a better fight for him right now.

                Me likes the fight.

As many have said, Kotelnik is a very solid, world class fighter & a legitimate title holder
                    - big step up for Khan considering his age.

Choice of Kotelnik as an opponent says to me that they are worried about Khan's chin, but are very confident in his skills...
Kotelnik is an excellent technical boxer, with very good accuracy & a superb defence, but is not a big puncher (although he can still hurt you).

Khan has handspeed, height & reach, power, as well as footspeed advantages over Kotelnik, with footspeed maybe being the key.
Kotelnik has a big, top-level experience gap over Khan, & is a very smart fighter who is good at negating his opponents advantage's & taking over the fight in the mid rounds (see the Witter fight for details).

Will Khan's speed & talent shine through, or will Kotelnik's experience & smarts take over the fight in the mid rounds, as he has done many times before.
Will Khan be able to hold it together over the long haul against a fighter as good as Kotelnik?

                    Should be interesting...
