Not really. I think we all were just starting to forget about him. His number one fan around here killed himself a while ago. So it's been quiet ever since.

Oh yes he has (fought outside Australia) Got starched from a jab by Sven (couldn't bust a g****) Ottke (who never fought outside of Germany) Talk about "lantern chin" Nearly choked on my spleen!!

Actually he has fought outside out Austrailia. He fought Number 1 Super Middlweight Sven Okkte in Germany in 2001.

Mudine is pretty hated on this forum. Not many people have a good word to say about him, but sometimes i think people overrate how bad he really is.

He holds a 38 fight record with 35 wins, and 23 Ko's with 3 losses.

He hold wins over Sam Solimanx3, he is the only ever fighter to knock out the tricky Soliman, Winky Wright,Enrique Ornelas,Sakio Bika,Raymond Joval,and Howard Eastman all fought Soliman and cound't KO him, thats pretty good win, he also beat Soliman twice on points.

He hold's a win over the strong and tough Danny Green in what was the biggest fight in Australia History. He completey outclassed and outboxed Green in a very good display of skill and movement by Mudine. After this defeat Green would move up to LHW and capture the WBA title defeating Stipe Drews. So i think the Green win is a very good win and done in convincing fashion.

He also hold's a win over former world title challagner Antwun Echols, who Mudine defeated on points on UD.Going into the fight Echols had won 5 fights in a row, and the last fighter to beat him was Bernard Hopikins. And in those 5fights he'd won, Echols had stopped Charles Brewer and Richard Grant. This is also a very underrated win for Mudine.

And after only 10 fights and hardly no amature exprience, Mudine went over to Germany to battle then current Number 1 Sven Ottke who was a brillant amature and undefeated world champion. After 10 rounds Mudine was ahead on the scorecards which is pretty impressive being ahead against Ottke in Germany after 10 rounds. Before being hit directly on the temple and getting Ko'd.

Mudine also hold wins over decent fighters in Nader Hamdan, and Shannan Taylor.

So am not Mudine's biggest fan by no means, and i agree he needs bigger fights which mean something. But he is no were near as bad a fighter as some people make out on here. He is pretty skilled and is dedicated. And is overall a good fighter.

His next fight will be a good test also when he takes on amature standout Daniel Geale who is 21-0 as a pro and is a hungrey fighter who will come to win.
